About your STARS Truck Team

In 2007, John & Barb Giesbrecht opened STARS Truck & Auto Repair Service Ltd (it was then known as JG Truck Service), Servicing & Repairing all makes & models of truck & trailer equipment in a 4000 square ft shop located 4 miles west of Altona, MB.

In 2011, the business was moved to Winkler, MB., into a 3600 square foot shop with 5 service bays and the name was changed to STARS Truck & Auto Repair Services Ltd.

In 2015 STARS entered a partnership agreement with Beaver Trucks to become a fully authorized Volvo Truck Service Provider in order to offer customers with a full line of Volvo parts & warranty services. At this time more room was needed to meet the needs of our customers so  an additional 2400 square feet two story space was constructed to house office/parts/truckers lounge & show room as well as one new drive through service bay to accommodate a tractor super B trailer combination.

Our current location offers a large parking lot with plenty of truck & trailer parking.

STARS also offers our customers local pick and drop off of customers and trucks.
